Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Announces Its Economic Forum Event Will Present Economic Opportunities and Discuss Rebounding the Local Economy
The Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (NVBCC) will be hosting an Economic Forum on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. The host organization will receive its members and guests from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM at the Fairview Park Marriott, 3111 Fairview Park Drive, in Falls Church, Virginia.
Peggy Fox, Northern Virginia Media and Community Relations Leader of Dominion Energy, will moderate the forum. The feature presentation will be a panel of the following Economic Directors of Northern Virginia counties and cities:
Stephanie Landrum: President & CEO, Alexandria Economic Development Partnership Telly Tucker: Director, Arlington Economic Development
Victor Hoskins: President & CEO, Fairfax County Economic Development Authority Buddy Rizer: Executive Director, Loudon County Department of Economic Development Christina Winn: Executive Director, Prince William County Department of Economic Development
The panelists will provide NVBCC members with an overview of upcoming economic opportunities planned in Northern Virginia. They will also discuss ways to reinvigorate the regional economy following the COVID-19 pandemic and welcome an open dialogue on how to continue transforming the community.
Another exciting procurement opportunity will be introduced by Jason Hawkins, Director of Supplier Diversity for George Mason University.
